My Photography is…..my love and passion.
but My Love is…...my wife and my life.
The two go hand in hand but are also very different. And because this is a photography website, I’m going to stick to the subject here. As long as I can remember, I’ve always enjoyed taking photographs. When I was old enough to go to concerts, I always had my camera with me to capture the moment. Music has always been a passion of mine. Photography has always been a passion of mine. When I mix the two, I’m in another world. I’ve been professionally photographing concerts for the last few years. My photographs have been used in music review articles, used for promotional work, and have been enjoyed by thousands of online music fans.
I didn’t start out professionally shooting concerts. I first focused on still life and nature photography. If there’s one thing I’d like to capture, it’s the beauty God has put on this earth. From the waterfalls in the mountains, to the wildlife in the forests, and to the scenic beauty that surrounds us all, that’s where it began. I really enjoy the world of macro photography when it comes to still life and floral photography. When I really get up close to my subject, only then does it become apparent how beautiful something really is.
Moving right along. I decided to take my photography to a new level. I started photographing people. To many, that may not seem like a big deal, but it really is. As a portrait photographer, I really need to know what I’m doing. If I take a photo of a landscape or a flower, the subject isn’t going to care. But now with portrait subjects I have to be on top of the game. There are many factors involved in portrait photography that will result in a stunning photograph. I photograph couples, weddings, sports, and other events. I focus on capturing the moment, the moment that will stay alive forever in a photograph.
When I’m not working on my photography, I enjoy playing competitive table tennis. I am a member of the Charlotte Table Tennis Club here in Charlotte, NC. Like photography, I’ve always enjoyed playing ping-pong growing up. As I got older, I developed and trained to be a more competitive player and joined the table tennis club.
